a week in the Philippines

I've been in this small community about an hour north of Manila for about week. It's hot, as you might expect, and quite poor. Our group consists of 12 members divided into 5 different concentrations related to planning issues specifically chosen by the local community. We have to conduct first and second hand research over the course of a month, then present our findings in a report of about 40 pages to the local council. That's the background info. I'll give more specific details about the community in future posts.
